Through a Lens (Dave x Reader) Part 4
The styrofoam cup of hot (tea/coffee) was beginning to burn as I looked around for a free table or even an empty bench at this point. Each available spot seemed to be taken, everyone was cramming for their upcoming finals. The library was packed and they wouldn’t let me bring in any drinks, meaning I had to fend for myself on campus.
I switched the (tea/coffee) between my hands before spotting a shady tree off to the side of the art building. Reluctantly, I made my way towards it being careful not to jostle my drink or let the notes jammed between the pages of my textbook fall out.
Quickly I settled down with my things, momentarily st

I slumped against the wall by the science building. (Friend) and I had an hour break before class so we normally ate together, but today (his/her) class was cancelled so (he/she) went home. Without the conversation, I had managed to finish off my lunch in minutes.
Loud voices carried from somewhere on campus, shouting and laughing about something or other. After my exam last period, all I really wanted was silence. My head dully pounded as I felt a migraine coming on the louder the voices became. Perhaps my next class would be open or at the least have a quieter environment.
There wasn’t much else to do but walk so I stood up, trying

Is it still considered stalking if the person consented?
It certainly felt like it. Everything about this felt awkward and strange. I sincerely hoped Dave hadn’t started his own project. The thought of having someone watch and photograph me when I was (mostly) unaware, was nerve-wracking. I couldn’t relax no matter what I did.
I tried not to cringe at the wary looks coming from the other people wandering around campus. An older woman froze and actually backed away slowly, as if I would launch out and attack her which was completely absurd. I wouldn’t chance damaging my camera so carelessly, the thing cost a small fortune.

My mouth felt dry as my teacher described our final. Describing yourself through pictures is a simple feat, but describing a stranger is always tricky one to accomplish. If you asked them, there was no certainty they were being genuine when asked to describe themselves. There was also so much open to interpretation, no guidelines to lean back on.
Our first project had been to describe ourselves, so in a way it made sense that the last challenge would be a step up from that. The possibilities and ideas started to bubble to the surface as he continued. I was so caught up in my inspiration, I almost completely missed the minimal guidelines. Tha

I surveyed the darkening sky as dusk settled in, the warmth of the (coffee/tea/hot chocolate) heating my fingertips. Karkat’s first two classes were canceled and I had free time on my hands so when he pestered me I didn’t think twice. Carefully balancing the two drinks, I slipped inside Karkat’s unlocked apartment.
I couldn’t help but beam as I thought about how I had managed to coerce Karkat into agreeing to spend our time watching movies, a horror movie at that. At first he had fought to see a comedy, romance movies had been out of the question the last few weeks, but offering to make (drink) had sealed the deal. He

A faux wail broke through the silence of my apartment. I felt like screaming as loud sobbing kept me from sleeping for the third night in a row. The paper thin wall of my apartment did little to stop the noise from filtering into my bedroom. Slowly, I pried my eyes open to look at the clock.
2:45 A.M.
My fingers twitched as some crappy popular love song from two years ago started blaring. Rather than screaming and waking up my own neighbors, I tossed onto my side and tried to block out the racket with a pillow. I couldn’t make out the words, but the droning sounds were still identifiable enough to be a nuisance. Despite the noise from

One by one porch lights turned off; streetlights were the only thing left alit. (Friend) remained oblivious, darting back and forth as energetically as she had when we had begun hours ago. Unlike her, the long trek up and down the streets had worn on me. I was exhausted and much like the people inside their homes I wanted to go to bed.

My fingers trailed across the spines of the books as I searched for a new novel to read, the new and old titles doing little to draw my attention. I paused momentarily over an older worn copy of Interview with the Vampire, debating whether or not I should simply give in and reread it once again.
With a sigh I retracted my hand and stepped back to survey a higher shelf. My back collided with something soft, instantly startling me. Gasping, I jolted forward and staggered to turn. My heel caught the bookcase throwing me completely off balance.
A hand caught my forearm and tried to steady me before I collapsed entirely. They kept a firm grip u

With a heavy sigh he collapsed onto his bed, sending several crumpled pieces of paper scattering across the room. Each one covered in hastily scrawled words that were scribbled out in frustration.
Ding!
Rather than paying attention to the noise, he continued to stare blankly at his ceiling silently willing the words to come to him. Every scrap of paper in his room was marked up in some way, whether failed words or doodles. A blank word document even taunted him on his computer screen. As the minutes ticked by he could feel a headache coming on.
If it wasn’t the frustration, it would have to be the blaring repetitive noise comin

“(Name), it’s getting late. Everyone’s lights are off. Let’s just call it, okay?”
I couldn’t help but pout, trying my best to give my friend the saddest look I could muster up. I widened my eyes and let my jaw tremble ever so slightly. I didn’t want to go home yet. It was Halloween. I loved Halloween, and every year it seemed like the holiday spirit was dwindling. Few people bothered leaving their house and even fewer gave out candy. The houses seemed to pale in comparison to the previous years.
(Friend) met my look with an even gaze, no longer in the mood for my holiday antics. Her makeup had smu
